Ethereum is adding another privacy-focused layer to AI payments. The Ethereum Foundation and Open Anonymity Project have launched zkAPI on mainnet, using zero-knowledge proofs to separate payment activity from user identity. The system currently targets AI API payments with $ETH and $USDC , while the same approach could potentially support other pay-per-use services.
