The more I study Web3, the more I see a similarity with football.

What happens on the pitch may look simple, but behind every good play is positioning, timing, communication, and teamwork.

That’s how I look at @ston_fi’s recent cross-chain developments.

For the user, the process can be as simple as:

Choose an asset → choose a chain → swap.

But behind that simple experience, there is routing, liquidity, execution, and infrastructure working together.

That’s what caught my attention about Omniston becoming available through TONCO.

In football, you don’t need every player to do every job. The team works because different players have different roles.

DeFi infrastructure works in a similar way.

Instead of every application building an entire cross-chain system from scratch, existing infrastructure can provide the underlying capabilities.

The One Swap, Across Chains campaign also brings different parts of the ecosystem together through missions with My Wallet, Gram Wallet, Mira, Getgems, SafePal, and WenLong.

And the numbers give us another angle to study:

• $11.6M weekly swap volume
• $25.8M TVL
• $23K generated for liquidity providers
• STON/USD₮: 13% APR, up to 27% with Boost

But numbers are only the scoreboard.

They don’t tell you everything that happened during the match.

The real questions are:

Where does the liquidity come from?
How does the routing work?
How is the yield generated?
What risks should users understand?

That’s the part of @ston_fi I find interesting.

A good team makes the game look simple.

Good infrastructure does the same for Web3.
