Stablecoin regulation is getting serious. 👀💰

The U.S. Federal Reserve has proposed new rules for stablecoin issuers, including requirements around reserves, capital and risk management.

That’s a big deal because stablecoins like USDT and USDC are becoming a major part of the crypto economy.

Clear rules could make institutions more comfortable using stablecoins and could help bring more traditional finance into crypto.

But there’s another side.

If regulations become too complicated or expensive, smaller crypto companies could find it harder to compete.

So the big debate now isn't really whether stablecoins will be regulated.

It’s about how they will be regulated.

Will clearer rules help stablecoins grow even faster, or could too much regulation slow down innovation?

What do you think?
