The Wall Street Journal reports that BlackRock is taking another major step toward bringing traditional portfolios onchain. Three BlackRock model portfolios holding baskets of stock, bond and $BTC ETFs are set to be tokenized through Ondo Finance. For eligible non-U.S. investors, tokenization could enable 24/7 trading and transfers, while also allowing holdings to potentially be used as collateral for borrowing. $ONDO has already become a major player in tokenized real-world assets, with its tokenized products reaching billions in value.
