Relax. You're not the only one who forgets the stop loss 🙋‍♂️🤡.

And besides, something important is the Take Profit, as they say, but there's an interesting tool called "Trailing Stop" that allows you to set a moving stop loss in favor of your position. You have to calculate the percentage you're going to set beforehand to see what it's equivalent to of the current price, but the advantage of this is that it allows you to choose an activation price. As your position moves, the stop loss also moves, guaranteeing a profit if the price falls by the percentage you preselected.

For example, with $BTC , I set a trailing stop starting at 81k, so I don't have to sell (in case the rally towards 100k finally starts, as we all expect), but at the same time, it protects the position in case it drops a certain percentage, or if there's a volatility spike at 82k but it pulls back to 79k, thus ensuring the maximum profit.

You're supposed to be able to activate this from the start, and you'd already have a sort of stop loss and take profit at the same time, but I would suggest using it more to replace a Take profit based on a target price, and making sure to place a traditional Stop Loss.
