Is “Stealth QE” driving Bitcoin’s latest breakout? BTC’s move higher looks like more than a simple macro reaction. The market was heavily positioned for downside, but when expected catalysts failed to push BTC lower, shorts were forced to unwind, creating a liquidation-driven squeeze. Now, the Fed’s reported $15.6B in Treasury purchases is adding another liquidity narrative to the move, although these operations are not officially described as QE.

The bigger question is whether the squeeze can turn into sustained spot demand. Leverage can accelerate a breakout, but holding higher levels requires real buyers to keep absorbing supply. For me, the key signals are $BTC positioning, liquidation data, ETF flows and Fed liquidity operations. Is this just a short squeeze, or is liquidity starting to become a bigger driver of the next Bitcoin move?
