Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said cryptocurrency efforts to finance the Iranian regime are not beyond OFAC's reach. OFAC sanctioned BitBank and its developer, Pishtaz Simorgh Electronic Trade Company. OFAC also sanctioned three associates of Iranian financier Babak Zanjani.
