Monero has the stronger reputation for actual privacy usage. Zcash, on the other hand, seems to be attracting more attention from investors and the institutional side of crypto.

And honestly, I don't think that's a coincidence.

XMR was built around privacy as the core product. ZEC is increasingly being positioned around privacy plus a broader investment narrative.

So we're basically watching two different markets form around the same idea.

One side wants private money.

The other wants exposure to privacy infrastructure.

Personally, I think the bigger question is whether privacy becomes a mainstream crypto primitive again.

Because if that happens, the market probably won't care which coin has the better meme.
