Lisk $LSK Price Exploded, Then Cooled. Its Blockchain Is Still Closing The squeeze changed the price. It didn't settle what LSK becomes next. Sunday's LSK rally brought a forgotten token back into view. The liquidation figures help explain the intensity. Forced short closures can amplify a rally. They don't establish how much independent spot demand exists beneath it. Three days later, that's the more relevant question. LSK peaked near $2.00–$2.37 that weekend, then gave back most of the move. It's trading around $0.378 today; down sharply from the spike, but still up more than 500% from its early-August low near $0.07. Meanwhile, the project itself is changing direction. Lisk's updated announcement says its blockchain will close on October 31, 2026, as the business pivots to a finance platform combining accounts, payments and approvals. LSK is intended to continue on Ethereum as a loyalty token. That distinction matters for holders. LSK already on Ethereum or an exchange requires no migration action under the published plan. Holdings on Lisk Chain do. Stakers face a three-day unstaking wait, followed by a bridge process taking at least seven days; though the DAO vote that finalized the wind-down also removed the penalty for unstaking early. The burn story has moved forward, but only up to a point. The DAO wind-down proposal passed and the 100 million LSK burn remains in progress, targeting a reduction in total supply from 400 million to 300 million. As of today, total supply on-chain still reads 400 million. That's still an issuer-reported status; still not confirmation that the burn has finished. The bridge-concentration question has gotten more specific, too. On-chain trackers now put more than 76% of circulating supply in a single address; most likely the bridge contract itself, not one investor. Now that the squeeze has mostly faded, what would make businesses want to earn; and spend; LSK ? #Altcoin Season# #BTC Price Analysis# #Macro Insights#
