ETHEREUM SHORT-TERM WEAKNESS, INSTITUTIONS STILL ACCUMULATING

Ethereum is trading around $2,485 after another rejection from the $2,600 area. The latest 1H structure shows sellers taking control again after ETH failed to hold the $2,520–$2,535 region.

On the 1H chart, ETH is only slightly above the MA(7) at $2,482, while the MA(25) at $2,510 and MA(99) at $2,515 are both sitting above price. That puts ETH in a weaker short-term structure.

The important part is that this doesn't automatically invalidate the bigger institutional story.

U.S. spot ETH ETFs have continued attracting institutional capital, including roughly $216M of net inflows on September 11. Meanwhile, BitMine has increased its ETH treasury to roughly 5.96M ETH, representing about 4.9% of total supply, with more than 5M ETH staked.

So right now, ETH is showing an interesting divergence:

📉 Short-term: Price is below MA25 and MA99, with sellers defending the recovery.

🏦 Bigger picture: Institutional accumulation remains strong.

For bulls, reclaiming $2,510–$2,515 would be the first sign of strength. A move back above $2,535 would improve the structure significantly.

But if $2,465 breaks cleanly, ETH could face another leg lower before buyers step back in.

Institutional demand is strong but price still has to prove it.
