Symbiosis says it has recovered 15 BTC following an exploit of its Bitcoin Bridge.
According to Blockaid, the attacker was able to mint around 46.1 billion syBTC, but only managed to generate roughly $336'000 in actual proceeds.
Symbiosis is now offering the hacker a 20% reward for returning the funds.
Interesting situation: minting billions in tokens can happen fast, but turning them into real money is a completely different story.
