True spirituality should always allow you to remain connected to the world around you. Whenever your personal devotion deepens to the point that society is entirely unable to engage with or appreciate the inherent worth you bring, a fundamental shift occurs. Reaching such an extreme level of disconnect means you are no longer genuinely spiritual; rather, you have simply transitioned into being a spiritist.
