If you're still panic-selling every time old $BTC wakes up, stop now.

This is how traders get shaken out of clean moves. A headline like “$40M in old Bitcoin moved” sounds like dump incoming, and that fear can push people to sell $BTC or chase the next $ETH move before the market even confirms anything.

Six Bitcoin wallets that had been untouched for roughly a decade moved about $40 million worth of BTC this month. The easy read is distribution. The better read is that most of those coins did not go to exchanges, which weakens the usual whale-dump thesis.

That matters because context is telling a different story. Galaxy data says dormant Bitcoin activity is now at its lowest level since 2022, with 2026 currently tracking below the older wake-up cycles. So yes, some people will argue this is the start of supply hitting the market. I’d argue the bigger signal is the opposite: old coins are moving, but not in a way that screams immediate sell pressure, and that is usually more constructive for $BTC than the headline suggests. Some traders will still treat every dormant-wallet move as bearish. I think that reflex costs money.

What's your take on these old $BTC moves, and do you see this as distribution or just repositioning before the next leg in $BTC and $BNB?
