Veradermics, Absci and Cosmo Pharmaceuticals are developing new pattern-hair-loss treatments, a condition with no newly approved therapy since the late 1990s. Bloomberg estimates that pattern hair loss affects 50 million men in the United States. None of the three companies has an approved product, and regulatory filings are not expected before 2027.
