Is Bitcoin quietly preparing for another leg up, or is this rally getting too stretched?
I was looking at BTC around the $79K area, and the interesting part isn't just price. It's who is buying.
Whale wallets reportedly accumulated 39,154 BTC in one week, roughly $3B worth. At the same time, smaller wallets holding 0.1–1 BTC showed strong distribution.
That divergence matters.
It reminds me of a crowded shop where smaller buyers are leaving with their profits while bigger buyers are still adding to their carts.
But the chart isn't giving bulls a free pass.
BTC is facing a key $78.25K–$78.35K breakout zone. Above it, $79K → $80K → $81K becomes the obvious resistance path.
Below $77.2K–$77.4K, the short-term structure starts weakening, with $75.7K acting as the more important structural support.
There is another warning sign: RSI is around 72 and Stochastic %K around 82, suggesting momentum is already stretched.
So the setup looks less like “BTC must go higher” and more like a battle between strong accumulation and overheated momentum.
For me, the levels are more interesting than the prediction:
$78.3K: breakout trigger
$77.2K: short-term structure
$75.7K: major support
$72.8K: deeper correction level
$81K–$81.4K: major resistance
Whales are buying, but price still has to prove it can break resistance.
Would you rather see BTC break $80K first, or retest $76K before the next move?
