🔥 BITCOIN AT $78K: DIP OR WARNING SIGN?
Bitcoin is fighting to hold the $78K zone after hitting around $81.4K before Fed Chair Kevin Warsh’s hawkish Jackson Hole comments triggered a broader risk-off move.
BTC is now around $78.2K–$78.8K, roughly 4% below the recent high.
The bigger twist? 👀
US spot Bitcoin ETFs had a massive 9-day inflow streak, pulling in about $3.04B through Aug. 27.
But the streak has now broken.
On Aug. 28, ETFs recorded roughly $202M in net outflows as BTC slipped below $78K.
Meanwhile, leverage got flushed, with roughly $378M in crypto futures liquidations reported around the selloff. High-beta names like PEPE were hit harder.
Sentiment is still surprisingly bullish: the Crypto Fear & Greed Index is around 72 (Greed) even after the correction.
So the setup is interesting:
