Tether CEO just dropped some wild stuff in this pod with @scottmelker

First off - KPMG audit finally here after 12 years of FUD. About damn time. But will they do it yearly? Still dodging that one.

Here's the interesting part:

Tether's not just sitting on dollars anymore. They're hedging with $BTC, gold, and literal farmland. Yes, farmland. Because apparently when fiat collapses you need crops too lol

Their logic: $BTC is still "too early" for most of the world (true), gold still matters more globally (also true), but they're positioning for both scenarios.

The treasury play is nuts - Tether could become a top 5 buyer of U.S. debt. Think about that. A crypto company potentially propping up government bonds more than some countries.

Stablecoins basically decentralizing who owns American debt. Wild times.

Also touched on AI race (everyone's sprinting), Tether becoming a "stable company" (ironic name joke intended?), and whether AI will just do everything for us eventually.

Bottom line: Tether's playing 4D chess while everyone's still arguing about the audit. They're hedging dollars, buying treasuries, stacking $BTC and gold, and buying farms.

Either genius or preparing for actual apocalypse. Probably both.
