Last week, a top 7-day trader caught $BTC as it pushed toward 79,000, and the result looked simple only after the fact.

Most traders know the feeling: you see a breakout, hesitate, and then buy after the move is already stretched. That is how a clean trend turns into a bad entry, especially when $BTC is driving the tape and everyone else in $ETH or $BNB is reacting late.

The numbers here matter. The BTCUSDT perp closed with +6,570.16 USDT in PnL, while BTC itself was only up 1.44% in that window. That is the part people miss. A small price move can still produce solid profit if timing is tight, but it also leaves very little room for late longs to absorb a pullback.

What looks like an easy win on the surface is often just disciplined execution around one level. Once momentum gets crowded near 79,000, the market stops rewarding impatience and starts punishing anyone chasing size without a clear exit.
