🚨 Binance Adds Another Meme Coin to Futures
Binance has launched a new 牛来USDT perpetual contract today.
The underlying asset is 牛来 (Niu Lai), which Binance describes as a Chinese meme coin.
The contract launched at 11:30 UTC and is available 24/7.
What I find interesting is this:
Binance is adding more meme coin exposure to its Futures market.
But a Futures listing does NOT mean the token will be listed on Binance Spot.
So, a Futures listing should not automatically be seen as a bullish signal.
Meme coins can be extremely volatile, and perpetual contracts add another layer of risk.
For me, the bigger story is Binance continuing to expand its derivatives market around newer and more speculative assets.
Interesting move, but definitely one to watch carefully.
