Oracle Daily | Aug 29: The Weekend Does Not Call a Truce
Yesterday saw 40 anomalies. Today that number leaped to 75, a surge of over 226%. Saturday in DeFi is not a day off, and the oracle network knows it.
61 critical level anomalies erupted within 24 hours. LINK became today's most dangerous asset with an 86.37% cross oracle divergence, as Chainlink's LINK feed drifted from consensus. TBTC followed with a 45.20% depeg. API3 once again leads provider instability with a 5.83% average deviation.
Of 21 tracked assets, only 2 remained normal. WSTETH volatility hit 167.12%, and XRP joined the chaos with a 57.56% deviation.
Venus Protocol's health factor sits at 3.78, still uncomfortably close to its 70.70% liquidation threshold. Aave V3 at 5.09 offers little comfort.
The network health score crawled to 63, yet the At Risk warning light still burns. That 100% success rate cannot hide 75 deviation events.
Weekends are not safe days. Markets do not take holidays, and neither does risk#oracles
