Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich said Bitcoin's first Asian cycle has begun and Asian companies should build around it. Metaplanet became the world's third-largest bitcoin treasury after adding bitcoin to its balance sheet in 2024. Gerovich pointed to regulatory changes in Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore and growing interest in digital assets.
