A big move is very imminent.
$BTC pumped from $77,500 to $80,500 this morning liquidating $476M in the past 24 hours!
But here’s the important part:
Yesterday, I said reclaiming $79,000 - $80,000 would put Bulls back in control.
That’s exactly what happened.
$BTC reclaimed $79,000 and immediately pushed to $80,500.
This means Bulls have regained some short-term control, but I still want to see Bitcoin properly hold above $80,000 for continuation higher.
Bitcoin now has roughly $4.4B liquidity below between $75,000 - $78,000 and $3.4B above between $80,500 - $84,000. This means the HTF liquidity is still fairly balanced, although there is now a slight downside imbalance again.
On the LTF, the largest liquidity zones sit around $76,900 - $78,300 below and $80,400 - $81,600 above, making it likely we sweep these levels today.
Whales have also built enormous sell walls around $80,500 - $82,000, while large buy orders are still stacked below until $74,000. This means smart money are very eager to buy any further dips and sell into a $82,000 pump.
Meanwhile, OI remains controlled, futures traders have shifted back towards buying and Coinbase Premium is now close to neutral, However, spot demand has started slowing down slightly. This means positioning still looks healthy, but I want to see spot demand strengthen again if this move is going to sustainably move higher.
So to make things simple for you:
- $79K - $80K reclaim happened
- Holding $80K would confirm Bulls are back in control
- $78.3K and $80.4K are the two LTF magnets
- HTF liquidity remains fairly balanced
