90% of U.S. college students want $BTC and blockchain taught at university.

And parents are almost equally enthusiastic: 87% support it too, according to a new OKX survey of 500 students and 500 parents.

The interesting part starts when you compare demand with supply. A separate study of 533 accredited U.S. business schools found that only ~28% actually offered blockchain courses.

So where does everyone learn instead?

33% social media & influencers
17% financial advisors
12% crypto platforms & apps
10% - family
10% friends
7% schools, teachers & professors

Students are almost 5x more likely to name a feed than a faculty member as their main source of crypto knowledge. And the knowledge gap is starting to reverse at home too: 47% of students said they had already taught a parent something about crypto or investing.

Would you teach crypto as a standalone university course or simply make it part of modern financial literacy?
