According to CNBC, several companies moved sharply in after-hours trading. Nvidia rose 4% after beating expectations on both lines in the second quarter, with revenue more than doubling. The company earned $2.22 per share on an adjusted basis and posted $96.22 billion in revenue, above consensus estimates of $2.10 per share and $92.17 billion, per LSEG. Nvidia expects third-quarter revenue to rise to $108 billion, also higher than expected.

Salesforce soared 12% postmarket after reporting second-quarter revenue of $11.35 billion versus a consensus of $11.32 billion; adjusted earnings more than doubled from a year ago to $5.90 per share on an investment gain, and the stock would add 160 points to the Dow Jones Industrial Average on Thursday if the gain holds.

Okta surged 19% after second-quarter results exceeded expectations, reporting adjusted earnings of $1.05 per share on revenue of $805 million against estimates of 97 cents and $795 million, and raised its full-year earnings and revenue guidance.

Agilent Technologies jumped 4% on third-quarter revenue of $1.88 billion, above the $1.84 billion forecast, per FactSet.

CrowdStrike Holdings gained 10% after beating on revenue and earnings per share, with third-quarter revenue guidance above expectations.

Everpure rose about 2% after earning 70 cents a share, excluding items, on $1.19 billion, versus estimates of 58 cents and $1.1 billion.

Veeva Systems jumped 8% on a better-than-expected second quarter on a non-GAAP basis and issued higher guidance for the current quarter and full year.

Urban Outfitters tumbled 3% despite reporting second-quarter earnings and revenue in line with estimates, with adjusted earnings of $1.72 per share excluding one-time tariff-refund benefits.

Synopsys fell 2% despite raising its annual revenue and profit forecasts, expecting revenue of $9.69 billion to $9.74 billion and adjusted earnings of $15.04 to $15.10 per share.
