I started digging into DUSK because the privacy angle sounded interesting, but the deeper I went, the more the financial focus stood out.
Dusk isn’t trying to hide everything onchain.
Its architecture is built around giving financial applications privacy where it actually matters — with confidential contracts, selective disclosure and private transactions.
I also found DuskDS, DuskVM and DuskEVM interesting. Builders can work with native Rust/WASM contracts or use the EVM route with Solidity tooling.
Then there’s the bigger picture: tokenized securities, compliant transfers, stablecoins and other financial assets.
That’s where DUSK starts to make more sense to me.
The interesting question now isn’t just whether privacy works.
It’s whether Dusk can turn that technology into real financial activity onchain.
