PrEviously I covered why native issuance matters structurally on Dusk..... what I keep coming back to now is why deterministic settlement matters so much for it specifically. If the asset lifecycle lives entirely on-chain, then settlement finality isn't just a nice feature, it's the thing regulated markets actually depend on to close a trade with confidence. Dusk pairs its privacy-capable transaction model with DuskEVM for familiar tooling, which is the combination native issuance actually needs to work end-to-end.
I'd rather see one fully native regulated instrument live and settling than a dozen tokenized wrappers announced.
I'm watching for the first asset class where issuance, servicing, and settlement all happen natively on Dusk, not just the trading layer.
