Been digging into Dusk, and one thing I keep coming back to is how its staking design connects with the network’s bigger push toward regulated financial applications.

Dusk has a 1B DUSK maximum supply, with 500M initially supplied and the remaining 500M emitted over time. Those numbers alone don’t tell the whole story.

What I find more interesting is how staking is becoming easier to integrate. Dusk introduced Hyperstaking, allowing smart contracts to participate directly in staking.

That feels important because it can connect staking with actual applications instead of keeping it as something separate from the ecosystem.

There’s also the 1,000 DUSK minimum for running a node, which makes the network’s participation model worth watching.

For me, the bigger question isn’t simply how much DUSK gets staked.

It’s whether staking, developers, liquidity and real financial applications can start working together naturally.

If that happens, Dusk becomes more interesting beyond the current campaign.

I’m watching the real activity, not just the numbers.
