I was looking at how DUSK is being framed as an RWA play, and one small detail bothered me more than the headline.
The interesting part may not be whether RWAs eventually become a big category. It’s the assumption hiding inside “nobody is talking about it yet.”
I went back over the framing a few times, trying to separate the actual protocol thesis from the market’s attention cycle. Grabbed a coffee and reread it because I kept coming back to the same question: does being early here actually mean being overlooked, or does it mean the market hasn’t found a reason to care yet?
That distinction matters.
A project can have the right narrative and still spend a long time waiting for real demand to catch up. Mechanically, that makes sense. Structurally, it creates a very different risk.
Maybe the lack of attention is temporary. Maybe it’s telling us something.
I’m still trying to decide which.
The question I’d want answered is: what specific onchain behavior would prove DUSK’s RWA thesis is becoming real rather than simply becoming a better story?
