I was looking through Dusk’s recent EVM activity and initially thought the interesting part would be developer compatibility.

Then I started thinking about what happens after a developer actually deploys something.

That is where it gets more interesting.

Dusk is trying to bring familiar EVM development into a network whose main differentiation is privacy and confidential execution.

Those two worlds can coexist technically.

But users do not think in execution environments.

They think in assets.

They deposit something here. Move it there. Use an application. Withdraw somewhere else.

That creates a less obvious problem.

The difficult part may not be getting Solidity contracts running on Dusk.

It may be making movement between Dusk’s different environments feel like one coherent system.

Because every time an asset crosses an execution boundary there is another piece of infrastructure responsible for representing that state correctly.

And privacy makes the problem even more interesting.

A transparent chain can expose plenty of information while moving assets around.

A privacy focused network cannot simply assume that visibility is always available when something goes wrong.

So I think the next thing worth watching with Dusk is not just how many EVM applications arrive.

It is whether users can move between the different layers without even thinking about which environment they are currently using.

That sounds like a UX problem.

I think it is bigger than that.

For a privacy L1 trying to expand its execution surface, seamless state movement could become part of the security model users experience every day.

The cryptography gets most of the attention.

But the real test might be whether all these different pieces eventually feel like one network.#dusk $DUSK @Dusk
