I’ve been watching Dusk for a while, and what stands out to me is that it isn’t treating privacy as a feature you simply add to a blockchain.

The more interesting question is: can real financial assets actually move onchain without exposing everything to everyone?

That’s where Dusk’s approach catches my attention. Its work around tokenized private-market financing is aimed at bringing real-world financial processes onchain while keeping sensitive information controlled.

For me, that’s the important part.

Institutions don’t necessarily need full anonymity. They need the right information visible to the right people, while still having compliance, ownership and settlement handled properly.

That makes Dusk feel less like another chain chasing attention and more like infrastructure being built around a practical problem: how do you make blockchain usable for regulated finance?

I think this is also where the next phase of tokenization gets interesting. The challenge may not be putting assets onchain anymore. It may be doing it without sacrificing privacy and compliance.

That’s the part I’ll be watching closely.

Can Dusk prove that privacy and regulated finance can actually work together at scale?
