I’ve been digging into Dusk Network from more of an infrastructure perspective, and the privacy-first approach is what really stood out to me.
Dusk is a Layer-1 built with financial applications in mind, supporting confidential smart contracts and its Confidential Security Contract (XSC) standard
And honestly, that makes sense
Financial data isn’t something you necessarily want sitting fully exposed on a public ledger. I’ve seen privacy treated like a feature to add later, and that usually turns into a mess
What I find interesting about Dusk is that confidentiality is part of the architecture from the start
That doesn’t mean it magically solves every problem. Real-world systems are always more complicated than the architecture diagrams make them look
Still, I like the direction
If blockchain is going to handle serious financial use cases, privacy shouldn’t be an afterthought. It should be built into the foundation
