Dusk's been around since 2018, quietly trying to solve something most projects don't even attempt — privacy AND compliance, same chain. Not anonymous-coin privacy. The boring kind. Bond issuance, regulator can see what they need, competitors can't.

XSC is their contract standard for tokenized securities. ZK proofs under the hood so trades verify without exposing terms. Fine, technically solid, nothing shocking there anymore.

What actually got my attention — NPEX, a real licensed Dutch exchange, has pushed something like €200-300M through Dusk's rails. Chainlink integrated with them too, in November. That's not nothing.

But it's still one exchange carrying the whole story. One jurisdiction. Roadmap's slipped before. A ZK bug here wouldn't just be embarrassing, it'd be fatal — real securities, real institutions.

If it works, it looks boring — quiet settlement infra, not a moonshot. If it fails, it just stalls out. Ask me in two years.
