#dusk $DUSK @Dusk The more I read about Dusk, the more I realized that its privacy angle isn't simply about hiding transaction data. The more interesting question is what happens when confidentiality becomes part of the infrastructure for financial applications themselves. Public blockchains make transparency the default, but many real financial interactions depend on selective disclosure rather than total visibility. Dusk's focus on confidential smart contracts and the XSC standard suggests a different design direction: privacy isn't treated as an optional feature added after the application is built, but as something the application logic can work with from the start. That creates an interesting tension—how do you preserve confidentiality while still allowing the right parties to verify that rules are being followed? If Dusk can make that balance practical, could privacy become less of a niche feature and more of a requirement for bringing complex financial activity on-chain?
