Between Aug. 17 and Aug. 23, the company sold 18.26 million MSTR shares through its ATM program. It used $136.4 million to repurchase STRC preferred shares, added $300 million to its existing US dollar reserve and placed the remaining proceeds into a new cash account.
As of Sunday, Strategy held $5.1 billion in its dollar reserve and $1.59 billion in the new account, for total cash of $6.69 billion. The company said the additional liquidity could be used for future Bitcoin purchases, dividends, debt payments or securities repurchases.
Strategy’s 840,447 BTC were acquired for about $63.36 billion at an average price of $75,385 per Bitcoin.
