In Binance square, creator pad campaign of dusk coin , I read about privacy of dusk coin, i realise it's main feature is "consensus "
Consensus is simply the way a blockchain network agrees on “what is true.”In a normal company, one boss or one central computer decides the official records. On a blockchain there is no single boss. Thousands of independent computers (nodes) around the world must somehow agree on the same list of transactions and the same order of blocks. That agreement process is called consensus. If they didn’t agree, different people would see different balances and the whole system would fall apart.
Dusk uses a special method called Succinct Attestation. It is a Proof-of-Stake system, which means people who lock up (stake) their DUSK tokens get the right to help run the network. These people are called provisioners. Here’s how a new block is added,
The network randomly picks one provisioner (the chance is higher if you staked more DUSK). That person creates a new block containing the latest transactions and broadcasts it.
Validation
A small random group (committee) of other provisioners checks the block: Are the transactions valid?
Is everything correctly signed and proven (including private ones)?
Does it follow the rules?
Ratification
Another random committee looks at the validation result and votes to accept the block. When enough votes come in, the block is officially accepted.
Once this happens, the block is final. It cannot be changed or reversed under normal conditions. This is called deterministic finality — very important for money and financial markets, because we need to know a trade is truly settled.
It is fast (blocks finalize in seconds).
It is efficient (only small committees vote each time, not every node).
It is fair and random — no one can easily predict or control who gets chosen.
It stays decentralized while still being secure enough for regulated finance.
