Dusk’s Biggest DeFi Question Isn’t Staking 👀
I spent some time digging into $DUSK staking and one thing really stood out:
Privacy and DeFi currently don’t seem to play nicely together.
Phoenix gives you the privacy layer, but DeFi protocols need to interact with balances and transactions they can actually verify and execute.
So the big question for @Dusk and DuskEVM is:
Will shielded $DUSK eventually be able to enter DeFi without first exposing itself on the public layer?
If the answer is only “bridge back to public first,” then privacy and functionality remain two separate tracks.
But if DuskEVM can introduce ZK-based composability where users can interact with DeFi without revealing their private balances, that could be a much bigger deal.
Privacy is great.
Privacy + composability is the real endgame. 🔥
