#dusk $DUSK @Dusk — I was looking into Dusk because its privacy-first approach to regulated finance is one of the more interesting L1 narratives. The pitch is reasonable: confidential transactions, selective disclosure and deterministic settlement for assets that cannot simply live on a transparent chain.
But one detail made me pause. Dusk currently reports €300M+ in institutional issuance and 210M+ DUSK staked, yet its EVM environment is still explicitly presented as a testnet. That means the headline institutional pipeline and the broader composable application layer are not necessarily at the same stage.
I don’t see that as a weakness by itself. Regulated finance moves slowly, and Dusk is building around compliance rather than chasing permissionless DeFi activity.
What I’m watching now is the conversion from institutional announcements into recurring on-chain settlement and real user activity. If that bridge happens, the thesis becomes much more measurable. The interesting question is: how much of the €300M narrative eventually becomes persistent network activity?
