So I was deep into privacy coins back in 2018. Monero, Zcash, the whole vibe. Felt like digital cash was actually the future.

Then regulators came in like a wrecking ball and exchanges started delisting them left and right. Felt like watching your favorite band get banned from every venue.

I genuinely thought privacy in crypto was dead. RIP, nice idea but governments won, move on.

Then a friend who works in compliance — literally the most boring dude I know, love him tho — mentioned DUSK. I rolled my eyes hard. "Another privacy coin?" Nah.

He showed me the actual setup. Private by default, but you can crack the books open for auditors when needed. Not some gray-area loophole. Built-in compliance from the ground up.

It's making the system and crypto actually shake hands. Way harder than yelling "censorship resistant" into the void.

Been watching DUSK since. Still early. Still risky. But privacy finally doesn't feel like a lost cause. #dusk @Dusk $DUSK 🌆
