BNP Paribas Group Chief Economist Isabelle Mateos y Lago said ballooning US fiscal deficits and persistent inflation pushed long-dated yields to multi-decade highs last week, according to Bloomberg.

Speaking on Bloomberg Television, she also said she is watching Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh's Jackson Hole speech on Friday.
