$DUSK is interesting to me for a reason that goes beyond the usual “privacy blockchain” label.
Financial markets have a strange requirement: transactions need to be verifiable, but not every piece of information should be visible to everyone.
That tension becomes more important as assets and financial workflows move on-chain. A completely transparent system can expose sensitive positions, counterparties, or transaction details, while a completely private system creates obvious challenges around compliance and oversight.

Dusk is a Layer-1 built for financial applications, with the Confidential Security Contract (XSC) standard designed to support confidential smart contracts.
