A whale that previously rotated heavily through U.S. stock futures began trading HYPE intensively last Friday and has now largely exited U.S. stock trading. According to BlockBeats On-chain Detection, the trader has generated more than 2,400 aggregated HYPE transactions since last Friday night, including opening long positions totaling 443,800 HYPE.

The whale’s combined opening and closing trade volume reached $56.259 million, extending its high-frequency trading style from U.S. stocks to HYPE. From yesterday afternoon to evening, it took profit on 172,700 HYPE at higher levels, with trade volume of about $13.805 million and an average price of $79.92, locking in an estimated profit of about $445,000. The reduction accounted for about 53.1% of its position.

As of press time, the whale still holds a 5x cross-margin long position of 152,800 HYPE, worth about $12.234 million, with an average entry price of $77.35 and unrealized gains of about $416,000, or 17.6%.

The address has also placed 50 reduce-only sell orders between $92 and $95, planning to sell 139,000 HYPE, covering about 91% of the remaining position. The notional value is about $13 million, with a weighted average order price of about $93.5.

HYPE was last trading at $80.07. The whale’s lowest planned exit price of $92 is about 14.9% above the current price, while the orders imply a price increase of about 19% to 23% from the $77.35 entry cost.
