👀 THE REAL $DUSK STORY MAY NOT BE THAT ITS L1 IS LIVE.
The more I look at $DUSK, the more I think the interesting part is the gap between Dusk L1 being live and Dusk Trade still sitting in the Building phase with a waitlist.
And that gap could become very important.
A live L1 gives investors something tangible—a working foundation they can point to. But the bigger question is whether that infrastructure can attract enough real users, assets, and liquidity to create a functioning market.
That’s a completely different test.
Dusk can have working settlement infrastructure without immediately having deep liquidity. And for an investor-facing platform, several pieces still need to fall into place:
🔹 Users actually onboarding
🔹 Assets becoming available to trade
🔹 Consistent trading activity
🔹 Liquidity becoming deep and sustainable
🔹 Users returning and participating repeatedly
This is where expectations could potentially run ahead of the evidence.
The market may begin pricing in the future Dusk Trade ecosystem before there is enough real activity to prove its network effects.
So I’m less interested in the “L1 is live” headline—and more interested in what happens next.
