#dusk $DUSK @Dusk
went and actually checked the wallet behind this SDK instead of just reading the announcement.
The SDK shipped July 28, 2026, built to let any Dusk app wire up wallet connections without custom code. Fine so far. Hold up though the wallet it's supposed to connect people to isn't sitting in the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons. Checked both, zero listings for it. Dusk's own GitHub still tells you to run npm install, build it yourself, then load it as an unpacked extension in developer mode.
That's about two months after Dusk's own May 28 post said Chrome and Firefox builds were "in review." So the SDK for connecting wallets is live, but the wallet a regular person would install from a store the thing the SDK actually needs isn't, at least not that I could find.
Not dunking on it, to be clear. Sideloading a dev build while store approval is pending is pretty normal for young projects MetaMask shipped the same way early on.
Still, "wallet connectivity for any Dusk app" reads a little different once you realize the wallet needs a GitHub account first. Maybe it's just a review delay. Has anyone actually gotten this installed without building from source?
