The more I follow $DUSK , the more I think the interesting part of the story starts after the “L1 is live” headline. Having the infrastructure running is important, but it doesn’t automatically mean a healthy market will appear around it. Dusk Trade is still in the Building phase with a waitlist, and that gap between infrastructure and real usage is what I’m paying attention to now.

I’ve seen plenty of crypto projects reach the point where the technology works, only to discover that getting people to actually use it is a completely different challenge. With Dusk, the rails may be ready, but users still need to arrive, real-world assets need to become available, trading activity needs to develop, and liquidity needs to stay around even when the early excitement fades.

That’s why I’m trying not to get too far ahead of the evidence. The market can easily start pricing in the future potential of Dusk Trade before there is enough real activity to show whether those network effects are actually forming. For me, the next signals are much more interesting than another “live” announcement.

I want to see waitlisted users become active investors. I want to see assets actually being traded. Most importantly, I want to see liquidity become persistent rather than temporary.

If Dusk can turn working infrastructure into genuine economic activity, the thesis becomes much stronger. If that transition takes longer, it may show that some expectations are still based on the future.

Either way, I think the next chapter will tell us more about $DUSK than the launch itself ever could.
