Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian defended a memorandum with the United States as the best way to move beyond the stalled war. The memorandum set a 60-day deadline for ending the war and reaching a nuclear agreement. Iran security chief Mohsen Rezaei threatened retaliation if neighboring countries support new U.S. sanctions. Violence was also reported in the occupied West Bank.
