Polymarket odds for a bet that U.S. President Donald Trump will choose Margo Martin as the next White House press secretary briefly rose to 15% before easing to 9%, up 5% over the past 24 hours. According to Odaily, Trump was asked this week at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland who might replace White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt and responded by asking reporters, "How about Margo? What do you think of her?" He also joked that the choice could be "maybe you." Leavitt is set to leave at the end of August, and Martin currently serves as special assistant to the president and communications adviser, mainly handling social media posts about presidential activities.
