DUSK is one of those projects I keep watching because privacy is slowly becoming a bigger part of the blockchain story.
I’ve seen many privacy-focused coins gain attention during hype cycles, but Dusk Network takes a different route. It’s a Layer-1 built for financial applications, with confidential smart contracts through its Confidential Security Contract (XSC) standard.
What I like is the focus on real financial use cases. Institutions need privacy around sensitive transactions, ownership, and compliance. Public blockchains are powerful, but not every financial transaction can be completely transparent.
That’s where DUSK has an interesting angle.
The risk is adoption. Strong technology alone doesn’t guarantee users, developers, or liquidity. Competition in Layer-1 and privacy infrastructure is also serious.
My biggest lesson from crypto is simple: I don’t buy a narrative just because it sounds good. I watch whether people actually use the technology.
