Dusk Network's whole pitch is basically: public blockchains got privacy backwards. Everyone's balance visible forever isn't trust, it's just noise. Banks don't work that way — they get audited quietly, not livestreamed.

So Dusk splits "is this valid" from "who can see it." ZK proofs confirm the math without showing amounts or parties. Regulators get a keyhole view when needed, not the whole ledger. Fine, that part's genuinely useful.

DuskEVM landing in Jan 2026 mattered more than people gave it credit for — Solidity compatible, no rewrite needed. The NPEX deal, €300M+ tokenized, is real money, not a testnet screenshot.

But the token's just... standard PoS stuff. Nothing special. And institutional volume staying thin is the actual risk here, not the tech. Boring wins in finance. Whether Dusk gets boring enough to matter, still unclear.
