#dusk Emergency Mode Keeps Consensus Moving
@Dusk taking a smart approach to difficult network situations. If many nodes go offline and normal consensus cannot continue the SA protocol can enter emergency mode. Instead of stopping completely the network keeps trying until enough participants agree on a valid block.
Multiple open iterations can run at the same time which increases the chance of reaching consensus. If different blocks appear $DUSK can resolve the fork by choosing the candidate from the lowest iteration.
In the final stage an emergency block can also be created when provisioners holding most of the network stake request it. This block has no transactions but helps the network move forward safely.
For me this shows how Dusk is designed to stay reliable even when normal conditions fail.
