Wild 6-minute window just now:

$BTC dropped $2,000
$500M in longs got liquidated
$108B erased from total crypto market cap

This is what overleveraged positioning looks like when it unwinds. The speed tells you how crowded the long side was — when everyone's leaning the same direction, it doesn't take much to trigger a cascade. Liquidations feed liquidations, stop-losses hit, and suddenly you're down 2% in the time it takes to make coffee.

What matters now: does this hold as a flush or does it keep going? Watch funding rates and open interest. If funding resets and OI drops meaningfully, that's actually healthy — clears out weak hands and resets the board. If it bounces hard from here, it confirms there's real bid underneath.

Volatility like this is why position sizing matters more than being right about direction.
